Laundry Associate – Wardrobe

About the role

The Laundry Associate – Wardrobe supports the daily operation of the wardrobe and uniform section within the Housekeeping and Laundry Department of a luxury hotel. You will ensure that all associates receive clean, well‑maintained, and properly fitted uniforms promptly, contributing to the professional presentation standards of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Issue, receive, inspect, store, and coordinate associate uniforms in line with hotel procedures.
• Collect work sheets and keys, open the wardrobe room on time, and manage all related paperwork accurately.
• Measure new associates for uniforms, advise on fit, and handle returns from departing staff.
• Prepare and dispatch uniforms to outsourced laundry, track incoming items, and verify quality, cleanliness, and pressing standards.
• Identify and report stains, damage, or abuse; separate items needing repair and forward them to the Tailor or Laundry Manager.
• Maintain adequate stock levels, conduct inventories, and support housekeeping team members as needed.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and highly organized with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good knowledge of wardrobe garments and ability to measure and fit uniforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively with housekeeping and laundry teams.
• Commitment to maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
