Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor leads daily operations of the laundry facility at Rosewood AMAALA, ensuring pristine guest garments, linen, and uniforms. This position is key to establishing high‑quality standards and efficient processes in a pre‑opening luxury resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day laundry activities including washing, drying, pressing and finishing.
• Ensure guest garments, linen and uniforms are handled with utmost care and returned in immaculate condition.
• Monitor workflow, productivity and turnaround times to meet service standards.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Uniform Room for timely linen and uniform availability.
• Support setup, commissioning and testing of laundry equipment and chemicals.
• Develop and implement SOPs, workflows and quality standards aligned with Rosewood expectations.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and training of laundry associates.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished items for cleanliness, damage and presentation.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards throughout laundry operations.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Laundry Operations, Housekeeping or Hospitality (preferred).
• 3–5 years of laundry operations experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Previous supervisory experience is mandatory.
• Pre‑opening experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of laundry equipment, fabric care and chemical usage.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
