Laundry Valet

About the role

The Laundry Valet supports the housekeeping department of a leading hotel by managing guest and staff laundry, supplying clean linen, and ensuring all laundry‑related areas meet the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver guest laundry, staff uniforms and special items while maintaining confidentiality.
• Supply rooms with clean linen, towels and amenities according to operational standards.
• Store and organise clean linen and uniforms in designated areas.
• Monitor linen stock levels and alert the Housekeeping Supervisor when replenishment is needed.
• Coordinate with the external laundry provider to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry facilities, back‑of‑house areas and equipment.
• Assist housekeeping staff with rotation cleaning duties and replenish amenities.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to guest inquiries related to laundry.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in hotel housekeeping, laundry or related hospitality functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow labeling and handling procedures.
• Good communication skills for interaction with guests, housekeeping team and external laundry provider.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced hotel environment and support a team‑oriented culture.
