Learjet 60XR Captain – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Draken is expanding its fleet in Saudi Arabia and seeks experienced Captains to operate the newly introduced Learjet 60XR in support of a contract with the Royal Saudi Air Force. The role is permanently based in Saudi Arabia and offers the chance to shape the future of the company’s airborne operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee safe and efficient flight operations in compliance with regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate and execute specialised flight profiles, including formation operations.
• Collaborate with crew members to achieve mission objectives while maintaining high professional standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders, upholding Draken’s reputation for excellence.

Required profile

• UK CAA (f)ATPL(A) or ATPL(A) with a valid Class 1 Medical.
• Minimum 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 1,000 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command.
• Current or previously held Multi‑Engine Instrument Rating (IR).
• Completed MCC (Multi‑Crew Cooperation) and AUPRT (Airborne Under‑water Photo‑Reconnaissance Training) courses.
• Experience in tactical military captaincy and ability to obtain UK MOD security clearance (subject to nationality restrictions).
