Legal Counsel – Corporate & Regulatory Law

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal advice and support across the Group’s business activities. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws, minimizes legal risks, and safeguards the Company’s interests through effective contract management and regulatory guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, amend, negotiate, and advise on legal documentation, contracts, and agreements.
• Prepare and update statutory documents such as Articles and Memorandum of Association.
• Provide clear legal advice to all business units.
• Assist with intellectual property matters, including trademark registration, cancellation, and transfer.
• Handle Power of Attorney matters and support various departments in contract and compliance reviews.
• Support incorporation of companies and other legal entities.
• Liaise with public entities, notaries, government bodies, and officials.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments and ensure business activities align with applicable law.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (mandatory).
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Professional legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister, Attorney‑at‑Law, Lawyer, etc.) is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Corporate Law, Labor Law, Contract Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Data Protection, and related frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proven experience reviewing legal documents, contracts, and regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with legal research databases, government portals, and regulatory platforms.
