Level 2 IT Systems Engineer

About the role

The Level 2 IT Systems Engineer will develop, implement and maintain the company website and document management system (SharePoint or a proprietary solution). The role supports the IT Manager’s digital roadmap across all Saudi operations, providing second‑level support to corporate, project and field users while ensuring compliance with KSA regulatory and cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Document Management System (DMS) strategy aligned with business mobilisation and operational readiness.
• Promote an IT‑as‑a‑Service culture, delivering responsive, customer‑focused technology services.
• Assist the IT Manager with technical issues, projects, reporting and service delivery.
• Coordinate and manage IT/ICT support activities across locations.
• Act as back‑to‑back IT Manager during the manager’s leave, handling delegated tasks and projects.
• Support the establishment of cybersecurity, data governance, business continuity and IT risk controls.
• Ensure compliance with KSA regulatory, cybersecurity, data protection and Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) requirements.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel on a limited basis to field and operational sites across Saudi Arabia.
• Ability to assess end‑user requirements and support business operations.

Required skills

• Experience with SharePoint or other proprietary document management systems.
• Second‑level IT support expertise.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data governance.
• Familiarity with KSA regulatory frameworks and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
