Linux Engineer (L2/L3) – Enterprise Server Management

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Linux Engineer (L2/L3) to manage, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux server environments. The role covers server administration, patching, hardening, performance optimization, lifecycle management, automation, and advanced technical support. You will work across development, test, and production environments to ensure high availability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Linux servers across all environments.
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Linux operating systems.
• Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting and resolve complex server issues.
• Monitor performance, availability, capacity, and system health.
• Implement system hardening according to security standards.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, sudo policies, and authentication.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or similar tools.
• Support virtualization and cloud‑based Linux environments.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring infrastructure problems.
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 4–7 years of Linux system administration or engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or equivalent.
• Proven experience with patching, hardening, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in high‑availability production environments.
