About the role

Join the Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah team as a Lobby Butler, delivering warm, professional service to guests in a 5‑star environment near Al Masjid Al Nabawi. You will create memorable experiences for Saudi nationals and international visitors alike.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, assist, and bid farewell to guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Anticipate guests’ needs, providing personalized luxury service throughout their stay.
• Handle guest requests, special arrangements, and VIP occasions discreetly.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly while maintaining high standards of grooming, etiquette and confidentiality.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience as a butler or in a similar luxury hospitality role.
• Proven supervisory experience managing a team of service professionals.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern customs and etiquette is highly advantageous.
• High school diploma required; a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Professional butler certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Turkish or French; Arabic proficiency highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, while maintaining confidentiality.
