Logistics Operations Manager – Last-Mile Delivery

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our last‑mile delivery operations for orders received through major food delivery platforms such as HungerStation, Keeta, The Chefz, and Jahez. The role ensures efficient daily delivery, high service quality, and cost‑effective operations while meeting strict delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily last‑mile delivery across multiple platforms.
• Coordinate order flow from acceptance to successful delivery.
• Monitor driver/rider performance, attendance, productivity, and compliance.
• Plan delivery schedules, rider allocation, and coverage based on order volume.
• Track and report KPIs: on‑time delivery, acceptance rate, cancellation rate, delivery time, rider productivity, complaints, and order accuracy.
• Analyze operational data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handle escalations, delayed or failed deliveries, and customer complaints.
• Collaborate with restaurants, riders, platform support teams, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, platform requirements, and local regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Develop procedures to boost delivery speed, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor peak‑hour demand and adjust rider capacity accordingly.
• Train, coach, and motivate the operations team and delivery personnel.
• Support launch and integration of new platforms or locations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, last‑mile delivery, fleet operations, or food delivery.
• Prior experience with platforms such as HungerStation, Keeta, The Chefz, or Jahez is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and team‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
