Logistics & Procurement Coordinator

About the role

The Logistics & Procurement Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials from suppliers to the point of delivery. The role focuses on timely, efficient, and cost‑optimized transportation while maintaining complete documentation and high internal customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Expedite deliveries by following up with suppliers, providing feedback to buyers, and implementing contingency plans when delays occur.
• Prepare delivery schedules based on purchasing information and coordinate with logistics service providers to meet planned timelines.
• Arrange and submit all required customs and regulatory documentation, including purchase orders, bills of lading, airway bills, and delivery notes.
• Create inbound delivery records in SAP and ensure accurate system updates.
• Coordinate with internal customers, finance, and vendors to align logistics objectives, clear financial modalities, and monitor on‑time delivery.
• Maintain organized filing systems and update all relevant files and databases.
• Support vendor performance evaluation and assist the Vendor Development Officer with analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics coordination and procurement processes.
• Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, finance teams, and external suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and system updates.
• Experience supporting vendor performance assessments.

Required skills

• SAP (inbound delivery creation and order processing).
