Logistics Procurement Manager

About the role

The Logistics Procurement Manager will develop, execute and optimise long‑term strategic procurement plans for warehousing, trucking and last‑mile courier services across the Middle East. The role aligns procurement activities with JD Logistics’ broader business development goals and ensures a stable, cost‑competitive supplier ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead identification, evaluation and onboarding of high‑quality suppliers, integrating trucking (FTL/LTL), warehousing and last‑mile resources.
• Negotiate long‑term cooperation agreements, pricing, SLAs and payment terms to achieve cost optimisation and service quality upgrades.
• Establish and continuously improve a systematic supplier management system, including performance evaluation and incentive mechanisms.
• Monitor Middle East logistics market trends, regulatory changes and industry risks, adjusting procurement strategies proactively.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, sales, finance and other departments to coordinate procurement resources and ensure smooth end‑to‑end logistics supply chain operations.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in integrated logistics procurement covering warehousing, trucking, last‑mile courier and customs clearance in the Middle East.
• Deep knowledge of the Middle East contract logistics market and strong local supplier networks.
• Proven track record of strategic procurement planning, cost optimisation and supplier ecosystem construction.
• Excellent negotiation, contract management and complex‑deal execution capabilities.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and crisis‑management abilities in fast‑paced environments.
• Fluency in Chinese and English, or Chinese and Arabic; candidates fluent in all three languages are highly preferred.
