Logistics Specialist

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage import operations and customs clearance across Saudi Arabia. The role ensures timely, cost‑effective, and compliant movement of goods while supporting the company’s growth strategy in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor import shipment activities, including tracking, cost monitoring, payments and system registrations.
• Prepare and verify all required documentation, registrations, permits and pre‑approvals before shipment arrival.
• Liaise with government authorities, customs brokers and logistics service providers to obtain approvals and resolve clearance issues.
• Oversee delivery of imported goods to designated warehouses and ensure regulatory compliance (SFDA registrations, SASO certifications, customs exemptions).
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support operational‑excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months of experience in logistics, import operations or customs clearance.
• Familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements such as SFDA and SASO.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
