Logistics Specialist – Saudi Arabia

About the role

Armada is looking for a Logistics Specialist to lead regional supply‑chain operations in Saudi Arabia. You will ensure smooth import flows, manage seaport and land‑border activities, and work across a matrix organization to support sales, procurement and legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end import processes in compliance with Saudi customs regulations.
• Oversee complex seaport operations and coordinate freight clearance at land borders.
• Apply Incoterms 2020 accurately to reduce risk and optimise shipping costs.
• Resolve customs delays, duty disputes and documentation issues with authorities.
• Maintain shipment‑tracking dashboards and provide visibility to regional stakeholders.
• Travel up to 20% across the Middle East to audit vendors and address operational bottlenecks.
• Build and sustain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers and port authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of progressive logistics and international trade experience.
• Proven ability to work within an international or matrix corporate structure.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply‑chain management, logistics, business or a related field.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Saudi customs platforms such as Fasah and ZATCA.
• Deep understanding of sea‑freight documentation (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice).
• Advanced mastery of global Incoterms 2020.
