Machine Operator – Extrusion

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to work on our extrusion line, ensuring products meet quality standards and the production line runs smoothly. The role involves setting up machines, handling raw materials, and supporting the Quality Inspector.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Quality Inspector to guarantee finished‑goods specifications are met.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production line throughout the shift and at month‑end.
• Accurately complete and submit the daily production report to the Production Team Leader.
• Set up the machine correctly and perform size changeovers as required.
• Receive, return, and transfer raw materials to/from the Raw Material Warehouse.
• Notify the Lead Operator and Line Setter promptly of any machine issues.
• Store finished‑goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw materials in designated areas.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines and participate in HSE toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in the extrusion field.
• Good physical condition; able to work in hot and demanding environments.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to perform under pressure and in challenging conditions.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the extrusion process.
• Solid understanding of printing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
