Maintenance Engineer – Hotel Operations

About the role

Join AccorHotel in Makkah as a Maintenance Engineer, responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of all electrical, mechanical and electromechanical equipment in a busy hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all hotel systems and machinery.
• Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and repair of electrical, mechanical and control‑system issues.
• Participate in new equipment installation, commissioning and hand‑over projects.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, checklists and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring failures and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production and other departments to minimise operational disruption.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, procurement and external contractor supervision.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and company standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering within a hotel or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
