Maintenance Engineer - Systems (Niagara4 BAS)

About the role

Eram Talent is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer - Systems to support a leading organization in Saudi Arabia. The role maintains and optimizes Niagara4-based Building Automation Systems and Integrated Fire Alarm Automation Systems, ensuring reliability, performance, security and continuous improvement. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain Niagara4-based Integrated Automation Systems (IKAS) and Integrated Fire Alarm Automation Systems (IFAS)
• Prepare daily system functionality and health reports, and monthly status reports with performance dashboards
• Investigate and resolve alarms, faults and failures, including root cause analysis
• Create and manage Niagara user accounts and monitor user activity for security violations
• Manage software backups and restore them when needed
• Coordinate with IT teams on network and virtual machine issues and troubleshoot communication problems between Niagara and devices
• Configure Niagara machine IP addresses and server communication ports
• Optimize and tune the systems, develop SQL scripts for reporting, and maintain servers, workstations and JACE controllers
• Handle security alerts, support system expansion projects and ensure vendor/contractor compliance
• Audit automation systems, maintain configuration accuracy and develop software improvements
• Manage TRIDIUM SMA agreements, including patches, bug fixes and version upgrades

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• At least 7 years of overall relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience with Niagara platform-based Building Automation Systems
• Fluent written and spoken English
