Maintenance Superintendent (HDPE) - Saudi Nationals Only

About the role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Maintenance Superintendent for its HDPE plant in Al-Jubail. The role covers day-to-day maintenance of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment, reporting in the CMMS and supporting reliability and planning functions. Only Saudi nationals are considered.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all maintenance jobs assigned to contractors for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work on the HDPE plant, in line with company standards.
• Report regularly in the CMMS on maintenance execution at the plant.
• Support the Planning and Scheduling Supervisor and the Reliability Department with bad actor analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Prepare weekly maintenance reports and present updates at maintenance meetings.
• Manage daily maintenance activities and ensure equipment availability and reliability.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for HDPE process equipment.
• Review and improve personnel competency through job-specific training with the Head of HR.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements during maintenance.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds and major overhauls to be completed safely and on time.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• At least 20 years of oil and gas / petrochemical maintenance experience with a high school diploma, 15 years with a diploma, or 10 years with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience in HDPE, polyolefins or polymer manufacturing plants is preferred.
• Well organized and proactive, with good communication skills and proven leadership in large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure, strategic thinking and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of maintenance contract management.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and refinery / petrochemical maintenance standards.
• CMMS reporting.
