Maintenance Technician – Filling & Process

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure the reliable operation of filling, packaging and dairy process equipment at Al Safi Danone's manufacturing plant. You will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment failures, and support production teams to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on filling, packaging and dairy process machinery.
• Diagnose equipment faults, perform repairs, replacements and adjustments as needed.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Execute work orders according to maintenance schedules and priorities.
• Monitor equipment performance and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
• Manage tools, materials and spare‑part inventories, reporting shortages when required.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at cost control and equipment performance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in dairy, FMCG, food & beverage or manufacturing environments.
• Hands‑on experience with filling equipment and dairy process machinery.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Good English communication skills.
