Major Account Manager – Royal & Central Government

About the role

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Major Account Manager to lead sales engagements with Royal and Central Government customers. This remote position focuses on protecting critical public sector environments by delivering the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform and guiding clients toward a zero‑trust architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve and exceed sales quota.
• Drive complex, multi‑stage sales cycles for government accounts, coordinating with internal technical and support teams.
• Build long‑term relationships with executive sponsors and key decision‑makers in the public sector.
• Identify opportunities to displace competing technologies and expand market share.
• Collaborate with the FLIGHT onboarding program to stay current on product innovations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise or government sales, preferably within cybersecurity.
• Strong consultative selling skills and ability to navigate lengthy procurement processes.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting or surpassing revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
