Manager, Data & AI Portfolio & Project Management

About the role

Ma'aden, a fast-growing mining and metals company based in Saudi Arabia, is hiring a Manager for its Data & AI portfolio and project management function in Riyadh. The role leads the portfolio strategy and governance, oversees Data & AI programs from intake through closure, manages performance and value, and builds capability and partnerships across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and run the Data & AI portfolio-management framework, define governance cadence, decision rights and stage gates, and maintain an enterprise view of demand, priorities, investments and capacity.
• Oversee Data & AI programs and initiatives from intake through closure, set standards for planning, reporting, risk management and change control, and intervene on critical delivery exceptions.
• Define portfolio KPIs, oversee dashboards, forecasts and executive reporting, track commitments, benefits, adoption and realized value, and lead portfolio reviews.
• Identify material risks, dependencies and resource constraints, and coordinate budget, resource planning and procurement support for the portfolio.
• Oversee vendor-delivery coordination and performance visibility, and build partnerships across business and Technology & Innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, business or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of portfolio, program or project management experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Experience governing Data & AI portfolios, teams, budgets and vendors.
