About the role
The Manager Loss Prevention oversees daily security and loss‑prevention operations at The Ritz‑Carlton Amaala, ensuring the protection of assets, guests, and employees while supporting the hotel’s operating budget.
Key responsibilities
- Administer fire‑prevention programs, emergency preparedness, and OSHA/safety audits.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments, incident tracking, and hazard‑abatement processes.
- Develop and enforce shutdown procedures, key‑control guidelines, and monthly equipment checklists for CCTV, alarmed doors and duress alarms.
- Lead patrols, emergency response, investigations, and the shipping/receiving security process.
- Oversee the Accident Prevention Committee, first‑aid program, and claims management for liability and workers‑compensation cases.
- Handle guest and employee complaints, dispute resolution, and risk‑mitigation action plans.
Required profile
- High school diploma/GED with 4 years of security or loss‑prevention experience, OR an associate degree in Criminal Justice with 2 years of relevant experience.
