Managing Director – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Managing Director will take full P&L responsibility for a well‑established food manufacturing business operating in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to shareholders, the role combines factory‑floor leadership with commercial decision‑making to drive operational optimisation and regional expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the profit and loss statement and set financial targets for the plant.
• Lead all manufacturing, commercial and supply‑chain functions, ensuring production efficiency and high quality standards.
• Oversee procurement, sales, distribution and quality‑assurance activities.
• Improve operational margins through disciplined execution and stronger leadership capability.
• Collaborate with shareholders on strategic growth initiatives, including capacity expansion and new product lines.
• Drive performance improvements across plant and commercial teams.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production environments.
• Strong exposure to plant operations, quality standards and supply‑chain management.
• Experience operating in Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage large workforces and deliver measurable performance gains.
