Manual Machinist – Precision Manufacturing (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join a petrochemical and oil & gas client in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on machining, repairing and fabricating precision components for critical plant equipment, ensuring strict dimensional and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manual and semi‑automated machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders and drill presses.
• Set up machines, select tools and determine optimal machining methods.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Machine, modify and repair components including shafts, flanges, valves, pumps and fittings.
• Measure and inspect parts with precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machining equipment.
• Follow HSE, safety and quality procedures specific to petrochemical and oil & gas environments.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area and coordinate with supervisors to meet production schedules.

Required profile

• Diploma in Industrial Technology (Machining) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a machinist, including manual, semi‑automated and CNC operations.
• Strong knowledge of machine tools, metal properties and machining processes.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Good mathematical, analytical and English language skills.
• Physically fit with stamina for machining tasks.
