Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will lead engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production of gas turbine auxiliary skids and modular systems. This role drives manufacturing readiness, process development, and continuous improvement from engineering release through shop‑floor execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering for piping, mechanical assembly, electrical, and instrumentation scopes of gas turbine auxiliary systems.
• Review engineering packages, develop and maintain MBOM, routing, work instructions and ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Define make‑versus‑buy strategy, coordinate with sourcing, planning and operations teams.
• Support shop‑floor execution, resolve technical issues, and lead root‑cause analysis (RCA, 8D, 4D).
• Implement Build‑in‑Quality (BIQ) practices, Lean initiatives and Six Sigma tools to improve SQDC metrics.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, customer requirements and international standards (ASME, API, ISO, ATEX, IECEX, UL, etc.).
• Participate in manpower planning, capacity reviews and manufacturing readiness assessments for new projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electro‑mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial or Electrical).
• Maximum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or industrial operations.
• Legal right to work in Saudi Arabia without sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with NX Siemens CAD software.
• Knowledge of MBOM, routing, work instruction creation and shop‑floor execution.
• Familiarity with international standards: ASME, API, ISO, ATEX, IECEX, UL.
• Experience with welding, piping fabrication, inspection and testing.
• Lean Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing experience, including Build‑in‑Quality practices.
