Manufacturing Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead daily factory activities in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment that produces bakery, sweets, and FMCG products. The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end manufacturing operations within the factory.
• Ensure production targets, operational KPIs, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Oversee production planning, manpower allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Monitor operational efficiency and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate closely with quality, maintenance, warehouse, supply chain, and procurement teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Control production costs, waste reduction, and overall operational performance.
• Support process improvement, automation, and operational development projects.
• Lead, coach, and develop production and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Food Technology, or a related field.
• Strong experience in manufacturing operations within food production, bakery, confectionery, or FMCG environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing factory operations and production teams.
• Deep understanding of production processes, operational KPIs, and continuous‑improvement practices.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and manufacturing compliance requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving, leadership, and decision‑making abilities.
• Preferred background in bakery, sweets, confectionery, or large‑scale food manufacturing.
