Mason – Maintenance Specialist

About the role

Rotana Hotels & Resorts is seeking a passionate Mason to join its maintenance team. You will perform skilled masonry work across public areas and guest rooms, ensuring all tasks meet relevant codes and standards while delivering exceptional service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out tile grouting, blocking, and other civil works within the hotel complex.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules for masonry tasks as directed.
• Repair, maintain, and modify buildings, retaining walls, brick or stone structures.
• Mix mortar, lay bricks, stones, or concrete sidewalks, and construct or repair steps.
• Patch and replace brick or stonework, including chimneys.
• Install and repair tile floors or walls.
• Read blueprints, plaster ceilings or walls, and estimate masonry jobs.
• Perform carpentry work incidental to masonry tasks.

Required profile

• Technical background with solid experience in masonry.
• Good physical condition and ability to work under policies and regulations.
• Proficient command of English.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, flexible and able to adapt to unpredictable events.
• Calm under pressure, detail‑oriented, reliable and proactive.
• Strong teamwork, responsibility, adaptability, and customer focus.
