Master Data Administrator – Merchandise Planning

About the role

The Master Data Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and updating the assortment database that supports merchandise planning activities. You will ensure data accuracy across store clusters, planograms, SKU categories and the Business Information platform, acting as a key liaison between commercial, merchandising and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the assortment database with up‑to‑date records for all trading SKUs.
• Enter and validate data for store clusters, typologies, planograms and capacities.
• Synchronise planogram updates and capacity changes with the database.
• Ensure accurate data transfer to the Master Data Management (MDM) and supply‑chain teams.
• Communicate item‑location updates to the MDM team and confirm successful execution.
• Update the Merchandiser Code field for all trading SKUs.
• Collect, validate and consolidate commercial data for mass uploads to RMS.
• Archive all updates securely on the corporate shared folder.
• Export raw data for merchandise planning and prepare analysis reports.
• Refresh MP dashboards, scorecards and provide ad‑hoc analysis for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent observation and problem‑solving skills.
• Open‑minded with a focus on creating value‑adding reporting tools.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for handling complex data sets.
• Data analysis capability to identify improvement opportunities.
