Material Receiving QC Inspector (Mechanical/Civil)

About the role

The Material Receiving QC Inspector (Mechanical/Civil) ensures that all incoming materials for the AMIRAL P02&03 project meet client specifications and quality standards. Working on a large petro‑chemical EPC contract in Jubail, the role involves close coordination with subcontractors, material controllers, and the project engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Verify certificates and documentation for all received materials according to client procedures.
• Forward materials to subcontractors based on instructions from the Material Controller.
• Maintain accurate records of material handling using the company software system.
• Perform feasibility analysis of material suitability through the software platform.
• Track inventory of unused material and manage its sale when appropriate.
• Ensure traceability, clearance, and compliance for metallic and non‑metallic piping, valves, hydro‑testing, and coating.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in material receiving and inspection on large oil & gas or refinery EPC projects.
• Previous experience working on the main contractor side in Saudi Arabia or similar environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work with client‑specific procedures and documentation.
