Maternity Nurse – Private Household

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to provide professional newborn and post‑natal care within a private household in Saudi Arabia. The role involves supporting both the infant and the mother during the crucial early weeks after birth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive newborn and post‑natal care, including feeding, bathing, hygiene, swaddling and soothing.
• Establish and maintain healthy feeding and sleep routines, preparing feeds and sterilising equipment.
• Monitor the baby’s health, respond to emergencies, and maintain nursery cleanliness.
• Support mothers during the post‑natal period and educate parents on newborn care.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in maternity, neonatal, NICU, post‑natal or newborn care.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Kind, patient, compassionate, trustworthy and professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Infant CPR certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Infection Control certification.
• Lactation Support certification (advantageous).

• Fixed‑term contract for 2 years, extendable.
