Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The Mathematics Teacher will deliver the SABIS® curriculum to secondary students at Abdulaziz International School in Riyadh. The role focuses on fostering student achievement, applying the SABIS teaching methods, and supporting a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mathematics lessons using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark examinations and assignments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain an effective classroom atmosphere.
• Proctor exams and ensure a secure testing environment.
• Provide guidance and motivation to low‑performing students to improve outcomes.
• Assist with external exam preparation through structured revision sessions.
• Perform additional duties such as substitute teaching, organizing student transport, supervising lunches, and other administrative tasks.
• Collaborate on student life activities, including art events, open houses, and physical education programs.
• Participate in training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent).
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience.
• Professional behavior, ethical conduct, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to deliver results and be accountable for student progress.
