MCC Engineer (Saudi Nationals)

About the role

The Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Engineer is responsible for monitoring the airline fleet, ensuring timely and safe aircraft operations through real‑time troubleshooting and coordination with all relevant departments. The role focuses on both routine and non‑routine activities to maintain high on‑time performance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide online troubleshooting for reported aircraft defects both in‑base and out‑of‑base.
• Conduct ground and in‑flight troubleshooting to enable continuation to destination or safe diversion.
• Follow up repeated snags, coordinate with Service Engineering and manufacturer representatives on chronic defects.
• Review daily pilot reports and advise on necessary technical actions.
• Manage AOG parts, expedite material delivery, and control loan parts.
• Run fleet MEL reports, monitor technical status, and resolve recurring defects with support departments.
• Coordinate with the Operations Control Center (OCC) to align aircraft schedules and ensure completion of required checks (Daily, Weekly, A, C checks).
• Support the maintenance team to uphold the highest quality standards and optimise manpower planning for on‑time performance.
• Assess team knowledge and capability, recommend enhancements, and report deficiencies.

Required profile

• Saudi national.
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Online aircraft defect troubleshooting.
• MEL (Minimum Equipment List) reporting.
• AOG parts handling and expediting.
• Coordination with Service Engineering and manufacturer representatives.
