Mechanic Foreman – Plant Maintenance Lead

About the role

The Mechanic Foreman will lead the mechanical maintenance team for plant equipment, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards. This full‑time position is based on site in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance activities and assign tasks to technicians.
• Monitor job progress, verify safe work practices, and enforce lockout/tagout procedures.
• Inspect mechanical systems, diagnose faults in rotating, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and plan corrective actions.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and manage breakdown repairs.
• Support inventory control by tracking consumables, tools and coordinating procurement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report performance, issues and completion status to plant leadership.
• Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines to maximise equipment uptime.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and supervising teams at a foreman or similar lead level.
• Strong diagnostic ability for rotating equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read technical documents such as equipment manuals and maintenance checklists.
• Demonstrated leadership and task‑coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of safety practices, including lockout/tagout.
• Suitable trade background (vocational/technical qualification) in mechanical or related field.
• Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia and willingness to be based in Al Ula.
