Mechanic Technician

About the role

The Mechanic Technician will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment across the hotel. Working within the Engineering team, you will support daily operations, guest comfort, and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on pumps, motors, valves, compressors, water systems and other mechanical assets.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest areas and hotel departments.
• Assist with installation, replacement, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance, report abnormalities, and support emergency maintenance situations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Support energy‑conservation and sustainability projects within the Engineering department.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Mechanic Technician or in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, hotel standards, and relevant regulations.
