Mechanical Field Engineer – Power Generation

About the role

The Mechanical Field Engineer will join FieldCore’s Gas Power Field Services team, supporting the installation, maintenance and upgrade of power generation equipment at customer sites across Saudi Arabia. The role involves on‑site technical work, emergency response, and coordination of resources to meet contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and monitor site activities, including labor, tools and technical assistants.
• Perform on‑site installation, preventive maintenance, repair, calibration and aftermarket upgrades of power generation systems.
• Respond to emergency repair requests and provide technical instruction to customer representatives.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, job status updates, material orders and expense sheets.
• Ensure safety compliance and sign off on all changes implemented.
• Coach and mentor team members, and conduct walk‑downs to verify contractor work.

Required profile

• Technical or university degree, or high school diploma with at least 4 years of field services experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in field services or power generation equipment maintenance.
• Successful completion of Level II training programs.
• Willingness to travel extensively, work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
