Mechanical/Piping Inspector (Aramco Approved)

About the role

Eram Talent, a talent acquisition consultancy, is looking for a skilled Mechanical and Piping Inspector with Aramco approval to join its team in the Oil & Energy sector in Ras Tanura. The role ensures that mechanical and piping installations meet the required standards, safeguarding operational integrity and environmental compliance, and works closely with project teams to uphold quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical and piping systems in line with Aramco standards and specifications.
• Evaluate the quality of materials and workmanship during piping installation and assembly.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, non-conformances and recommendations for corrective action.
• Work with project management and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Carry out inspections at various stages of construction to meet safety and quality standards.
• Give technical guidance to construction teams to fix identified issues.
• Take part in quality meetings with stakeholders to share inspection findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in mechanical and piping inspection, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Aramco approval as a Mechanical and Piping Inspector.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage several tasks under strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of piping codes, standards and specifications, including ASME, API and those related to Aramco projects.
• Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and interpretation of inspection results.
• Proficiency with inspection tools and software for documentation and reporting.
