Medical Advisor – HIV (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Advisor specialized in HIV to join our Medical Affairs team in Saudi Arabia. The role will support scientific communication, clinical research, and pharmacovigilance activities for our HIV portfolio, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure regular scientific updates for cross‑functional teams.
• Provide medical input, including patient flow analysis, for HIV disease areas.
• Communicate scientific data on registered HIV products and pipeline to local scientific leaders and respond to queries.
• Collaborate with Policy & Access to support formulary inclusion and reimbursement.
• Design and deliver scientific education activities for the HIV community.
• Gather input on local epidemiology and management patterns through group input meetings, adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Conduct medical training for Commercial, Market Access, Sales, and Regulatory functions.
• Oversee compliance of all HIV promotional and non‑promotional activities in Saudi Arabia.
• Support clinical research and local data generation, identify suitable sites and investigators.
• Ensure timely adverse event reporting and assist the local Pharmacovigilance team.

Required profile

• Medical degree (physician) or pharmacy qualification.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, preferably within the HIV therapeutic area.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage scientific leaders and key decision makers.
