Medical Consultant (IFV)

About the role

The IFV Consultant provides comprehensive clinical care within Fakeeh Care, overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of discharge processes. The role demands a physician‑level professional who ensures high‑quality, evidence‑based care while supporting the institution’s patient‑centered values.

Key responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within assigned privileges and document all assessments in the medical record.
• Conduct thorough clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments of patients.
• Develop and document evidence‑based care plans, ensuring timely implementation.
• Act as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) for in‑patients, creating discharge plans on admission and coordinating with discharge‑planning services.
• Assess in‑patients daily, record progress notes using SOAP format, and respond promptly to medical consultations.
• Complete and authenticate discharge summaries, provide discharge instructions, and educate patients on medication use.
• Participate in departmental meetings, teaching rounds, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to Fakeeh Care documentation standards, and follow safety protocols.

Required profile

• Medical degree with appropriate clinical privileges.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, physicians, and non‑medical staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to person‑centered care and continuous improvement.
