About the role

The Medical Social Media Manager leads the planning, execution, and optimisation of healthcare‑focused social media strategies across multiple client accounts. Working closely with content strategists, medical writers, designers and project managers, the role transforms complex medical information into engaging, patient‑friendly content while ensuring regulatory compliance and brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media strategies aligned with each client’s business and marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with medical experts and internal teams to translate complex medical information into clear, engaging, and compliant content.
• Plan and oversee monthly content calendars across various healthcare specialties and service lines.
• Ensure content follows an educational approach that guides audiences from awareness to action.
• Coordinate with creative, motion, copywriting and account management teams to deliver high‑quality bilingual content.
• Maintain consistency with client brand guidelines and healthcare communication standards.
• Monitor performance metrics and recommend improvements based on audience insights.
• Guarantee timely delivery of creative assets while upholding quality, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Stay updated on healthcare communication trends, social media best practices and platform updates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare‑related social media initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading social media strategy for healthcare or medical clients.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including medical experts, designers and project managers.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the capacity to produce bilingual content.
