MEP Engineer – Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing

About the role

We are seeking a qualified MEP Engineer to provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering consulting, design support, and technical advisory services for a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and residential facilities owned by a major Saudi conglomerate. The role is an individual contributor position within the Engineering & Consulting department, reporting directly to senior engineering leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review MEP engineering designs, calculations, and specifications for new and existing projects, including electrical load studies, lighting layouts, power distribution, plumbing and drainage systems, and HVAC sizing.
• Provide consulting on fire protection, fire alarm interfaces, low‑current systems (CCTV, access control, data cabling) and building automation where required.
• Produce and coordinate AutoCAD drawing packages, manage revision control, and ensure compliance with Saudi codes and standards.
• Support operations teams with maintenance troubleshooting, system upgrades, and renovation projects, reviewing contractor submissions and material submittals.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, utility providers, and regulatory bodies to achieve integrated, code‑compliant solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience (approximately 60 months) in MEP engineering design and consulting.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
