Merchandising Team Leader

About the role

Arla Foods is seeking an experienced Merchandising Team Leader to drive in‑store execution and lead a multicultural team of merchandisers across Saudi Arabia. You will ensure product presentation follows FIFO principles and planograms while supporting promotional activities and sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and develop a team of merchandisers, providing on‑the‑job training and performance evaluations.
• Ensure FIFO concepts are applied and products are displayed according to planograms.
• Manage merchandising routes, optimise visits, and support creative in‑store displays and promotional events.
• Oversee POSM usage, shelf‑share development, and compliance with allocated space contracts.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Sales and Logistics departments and produce trade reports.
• Handle merchandiser payroll, vacation follow‑ups and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG merchandising and sales.
• Strong time‑management, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Excellent communication skills.
