Microbiologist – Quality Control (Full‑time)

About the role

Join Nestle’s quality assurance team in Saudi Arabia as a Microbiologist. You will be responsible for microbiological testing of raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products, as well as monitoring purified water and the production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and document in‑house microbiological tests on raw materials, semi‑finished and finished products following SOPs.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media and samples for analysis.
• Record observations, conduct data reviews and release inspection lots in the material management system.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure reliable performance.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean principles to increase laboratory efficiency.
• Prepare and handle paperwork, including receiving reports and deviation notifications.
• Follow Nestle SHE rules to ensure a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related field.
• At least 12 months of experience in a similar microbiology role.
• Strong mathematical and English communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain organized records.
