About the role
A leading international defence manufacturer is looking for an emerging Account Manager to strengthen its presence across the Middle East and parts of Africa. The role is remote but requires the candidate to be based in the Middle East. You will manage strategic accounts, maintain client relationships, and support the growth of existing programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and high retention.
- Identify cross‑selling, up‑selling and programme expansion opportunities.
- Support new‑business activities, prospecting and regional sales initiatives.
- Assist in proposal development, bid coordination and commercial documentation.
- Collaborate with internal operations and engineering teams to deliver programmes effectively.
- Maintain regular engagement with customers to understand evolving needs.
- Contribute insights to regional strategy and market development.
Required profile
- Experience in account management, sales support or a commercial role within defence, aerospace or a related industry.
- Exposure to government, military or OEM customers is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Understanding of sales processes, proposals and bid support.
- Interest in developing new business and contributing to sales growth.
- Proactive, organised and eager to develop in a client‑facing commercial role.
Required skills
- Strong communication skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
