Mobile / Web Architect (React / React Native)

About the role

You will join a senior development team responsible for architecting and delivering Kanz’s core user‑facing products: a cross‑platform mobile application and a web application. The focus is on delivering a lightning‑fast experience, especially the initial 90‑second job posting flow, while prioritising mobile performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and architecture of the mobile application using React Native.
• Implement the 90‑second job posting flow, AI matching engine, and interview scheduling.
• Integrate the front‑end with a fully API‑based backend built on Google Cloud Platform and PostgreSQL.
• Enforce high‑performance standards, targeting page loads under 2 seconds and fast API responses.
• Work with the design system to ensure visual consistency across the product.
• Develop mobile‑specific features such as swipe actions, voice notes for candidate feedback, and Commute Mode audio summaries.
• Ensure accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA and full right‑to‑left (RTL) support for Arabic.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional front‑end development experience, with a strong background in architecting and shipping production‑ready React Native applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern state‑management patterns.
• Expertise in mobile performance optimisation, network latency handling, and caching strategies.
• Proven ability to integrate complex applications with robust API‑based backends.
