Mobilization Specialist

About the role

AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm, is looking for a Mobilization Specialist in Riyadh. The role coordinates and oversees all mobilization activities for projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed mobilization documentation, including timelines, checklists and status reports.
• Manage visa applications, renewals and compliance with immigration regulations for employees traveling or relocating internationally, and guide them on visa requirements and travel queries.
• Develop mobilization plans with project managers and stakeholders, and facilitate travel arrangements such as flights, accommodation and transportation.
• Manage resource allocation of personnel, equipment and materials, and liaise with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor project progress against milestones, identify risks or delays, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Conduct post-mobilization reviews and document lessons learned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in project mobilization, operations coordination or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English communication skills.
• Familiarity with mobilization best practices and knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software and the MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
