MRO Sourcing Buyer – Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an MRO Sourcing Buyer to lead procurement and supply‑chain execution for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations items across our client network. You will act as the main liaison between operations, end‑users, and a broad base of specialized vendors, ensuring high‑quality indirect materials are sourced at competitive prices.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified MRO suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms to achieve cost savings.
• Process purchase requisitions, issue RFQs, generate POs, and reconcile invoices.
• Monitor inventory levels, track order status, and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Track supplier performance metrics and implement improvement strategies.
• Collaborate with local sales and customers to forecast supply needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of procurement or supply‑chain experience, specifically with MRO categories.
• Strong analytical thinking and market knowledge of MRO in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities; bilingual English/Arabic preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using customer portals.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
