NDT Level III Engineer

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a certified NDT Level III Engineer / Inspector to lead its Non-Destructive Testing operations. The role is the technical authority for the NDT program, working on site in the E-ADM department.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review, approve and maintain NDT procedures, techniques and work instructions in line with codes such as ASME, AWS, ASTM, API, EN and NAS410.
• Act as subject matter expert to resolve complex inspection anomalies and interpret advanced test data.
• Oversee the training, examination and certification of Level I and Level II NDT personnel.
• Evaluate engineering drawings and components to choose the best NDT methods and equipment for quality control.
• Run internal and vendor audits so NDT operations fit quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100 and Nadcap.
• Serve as the main technical contact during third-party regulatory audits and client technical reviews.

Required profile

• Active ASNT, ISO 9712 or NAS410 Level III certification in at least two major methods (e.g. UT, RT, MT, PT, ET).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on industrial experience will be considered.
• At least 3-5 years of active experience as a certified Level II technician before reaching Level III.
• Proven experience writing technical procedures and training people.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of materials science, manufacturing and fabrication processes and defect mechanisms.
• Strong analytical problem solving, clear technical writing and good instructional skills for teaching junior staff.
