NDT Technician - Valid ARAMCO RTFI Project Card

About the role

SGS, a global testing, inspection and certification company, is looking for 5 highly skilled NDT technicians in Saudi Arabia. Candidates must hold an RTFI Level 2 certification (PCN or SNT-TC-1A) and a valid Aramco RTFI project card. They will carry out inspections according to established procedures, ensure compliance with quality standards and report findings accurately and promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned inspection tasks as planned and scheduled with a professional approach.
• Report findings in the required format, meeting customer expectations and SGS Quality Management System standards.
• Ensure inspections follow all quality requirements, inspection points and coverage areas specified in customer ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and international standards.
• Submit inspection reports promptly so decisions can be made quickly.
• Work safely and advise others to do the same.
• Maintain confidentiality of client privacy and proprietary information.
• Strive for accuracy and precision in every task and act with the highest ethical standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• NDT Level II certification in Radiography (RT) and an Aramco RTFI project card with PCN or SNT-TC-1A qualification.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques in the oil and gas sector.
• Familiarity with material standards and welding codes (AWS, ASME, API).
• Verifiable training hours under SNT-TC-1A or ISO 9712.
• An international, UAE or Saudi driving licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Preferred: additional Level II certifications in Magnetic Testing (MT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Penetrant Testing (PT)
