Night Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Night Manager leads the resort’s overnight operations, acting as Manager on Duty to ensure guest service, safety, security and operational standards are upheld throughout the night.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the overnight Front Office, including Reception, Concierge, guest arrivals and departures, and night audit.
• Maintain Rosewood standards in guest service, appearance and operational execution.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints and service recovery promptly and professionally.
• Monitor late arrivals, early departures, special requests and ensure accurate billing, cashiering and financial controls.
• Complete night audit procedures accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and other departments to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and key guest areas.
• Log incidents and hand over operational issues for follow‑up.
• Support and guide overnight associates, ensuring clear delegation and high performance.
• Prepare the resort for the morning shift and report serious matters to senior Front Office leadership.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of Front Office experience with supervisory or night‑management duties.
• Experience in a luxury or ultra‑luxury hotel or resort environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of night audit, cashiering, billing and financial controls.
• Ability to act confidently as Manager on Duty and make sound decisions overnight.
• Excellent service recovery, problem‑solving and guest communication skills.
• Good knowledge of safety, security, emergency and incident‑reporting procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) for guest profiles, room inventory, billing and front‑office controls.
