NodeJS Backend Engineer (Full‑time)

About the role

Colada, a leading Food & Beverage company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is looking for a NodeJS Backend Engineer. You will develop and maintain scalable server‑side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design robust APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in Typescript and ExpressJS.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to define and implement features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability using MongoDB.
• Ensure high scalability of the application using Docker, Docker‑Compose, and AWS.
• Maintain code quality with Git and follow best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience with NodeJS and backend development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
