NodeJS Backend Engineer

About the role

Colada, a leading Food & Beverage company in Riyadh, is looking for a NodeJS Backend Engineer. You will develop and maintain scalable server‑side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design robust APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript and ExpressJS.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability, leveraging MongoDB.
• Ensure high scalability and reliability using Docker, Docker‑Compose, and AWS.

Required profile

• Proven experience in NodeJS backend development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
